Remember, while the rapids may be sending your adrenaline through the roof, you should take in the beautiful sights of a dense forest, stone river banks, and the Himalayas: perhaps even spy some local fauna or a temple at the riverbank.
Age Limit: 15-50 years Weight Limit: 40-100 kg (proportional to height)
Health Restrictions: Not advised for individuals with heart problems, serious asthma, epilepsy or had surgery recently.
What to Wear: Wear fast-drying clothes like shorts, T-shirts or sports tights. Don't use saris, skirts or burkas.Travel
Tip: Traffic in Rishikesh becomes heavy on weekends! If you're traveling from Delhi, Haridwar, or Dehradun, factor in 2-3 additional hours to arrive on time.

Physical Fitness: While this stretch is suitable for beginners, a moderate level of fitness is recommended for optimal enjoyment.
Clothing:Wear quick-dry clothes, as you will get wet. Avoid wearing flip-flops; water shoes or sandals are ideal.
Timing:The best time to go rafting in Rishikesh is between September and June, with peak rafting conditions during the months of March to May.
Booking in Advance:Rafting tours in Rishikesh can get crowded during peak seasons. It is recommended to book your rafting experience in advance to ensure availability.
